The AB WORLD HEADQUARTERS project is a complete revitalization of the 15 acre 130,000 square foot former Manpower Headquarters.  The design goals included; bringing the outside in,  the consolidation of 3 locations into one headquarters, and to increase synergy and collaboration between departments. The departments relocated included; Class Action Administracion,   Production, Data Entry, Consulting, Executive and administrative offices.

The design solution brings all departments together in a collaborative and welcoming environment, for the many A B Data employees, that in the past had to collaborate across town. The ‘central square’ and interior street concept give autonomy to departments but are accessible and welcoming to the family of departments. Street names recognize significant Milwaukee leaders and visionaries.

The space reflects a sophisticated approach to business and collaboration. There are (4) types of gathering or conferences spaces; a High Tech visitors center, a training room for large group meetings, traditional conference rooms, informal collaboration and meeting spaces for group gatherings, and contemplation areas designed to foster creativity.

The space exudes a commitment to sustainability; cork, bamboo, and stained concrete floors, low VOC paints and finishes, updating of mechanical systems, etc. The space also enjoys natural daylight from skylights that had been enclosed and natural elements like water features and direct access to a walking trail and outdoor areas that encircle the campus.

The finishes are modern and organic with carefully refined details. Management offices and meeting rooms along the interior street have windows with rolling shutters for customization and privacy. Cork and wood wall panels along the interior street exude a feeling of warmth and refinement and provide a place to pin up displays or for gallery events.

The renovation of the former Manpower Campus, preserves and brings new life to an elegant building and artful campus. The employees and consultants that work in the building have already brought life back to the area. The Ironwood Campus will be a great platform for A B Data’s next chapter of growth. The project has been recognized with awards from the Business community.
